Carl Joseph, pianist and composer, has performed and entertained as soloist at countless high profile and corporate events in the UK, USA, Paris, Cannes, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Prague, Amsterdam, St. Petersburg and Kuwait.

He has performed in London at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, The Speaker's House Palace of Westminster, Banqueting House Whitehall, Kensington Palace, V&A, Natural History Museum, The Roundhouse, Annabel's, Cafe Royal, The Savoy, The Ivy Club, Mortons and Claridge's. He has held a residency at The Arts Club Mayfair where he performs regularly and also holds a residency at L'Escargot Soho.

 

 Carl has performed as classical soloist at venues in the UK including The Royal Albert Hall, Sadler's Wells, Young Vic, St. David's Hall Cardiff (debut with 'Rhapsody in Blue') St. David's Cathedral Pembrokeshire, Duke's Hall Royal Academy of Music (London debut with Ravel's G major Concerto), Britten Hall Royal College of Music, Chichester Festival, Leeds City Art Gallery, St. George's Bristol, Sherman Theatre Cardiff, Swansea Museum, Dylan Thomas Centre Swansea, Wolfson College Oxford, Capesthorne Hall, Hall for Cornwall Truro and The Arts Club Mayfair.

He has performed in California at St. Paul's Cathedral San Diego, Balboa Park SD, Naval Air Station North Island SD in a concert commemorating the Founding of the US Navy, Christ Cathedral Garden Grove CA and Immanuel Presbyterian Church Los Angeles. He has also performed at 'Tanglewood on Parade' Massachusetts, USA.

In two acclaimed productions at Sadler's Wells and at the Young Vic of Daniel Kramer's 'Pictures at an Exhibition' Carl both acted a lead role, performed and wrote original music alongside Mussorgsky's score. Carl has composed many instrumental, chamber and orchestral works and these have been performed at venues such as The Arts Club Mayfair, The Royal Academy of Music, Chichester Festival and Royal Festival Hall. 

Carl studied at The Royal Academy of Music as recipient of the Mary Graham Scholarship and at King's College London, recipient of an Arts and Humanities Research Award for postgraduate studies winning several prizes at both institutions.

He was also offered the prestigious 1882 Foundation Scholarship by The Royal College of Music and awarded a scholarship for his study at Boston University Tanglewood Institute in the USA. He holds a First Class Honours degree and a Masters degree in music.
